Meet Dr. Jonathan Titus

The oldest of 11 children, Jonathan W. Titus, D.D.S., grew up in a northern suburb of Indianapolis, and his extended family continues to call north-central Indiana “home.” During Dr. Titus’ youth, he spent many hours in his uncle’s dental office, which influenced his pursuit of dentistry as a career. In fact, Dr. Titus knew he wanted to be a dentist by the time he finished high school!

He would go on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Purdue University, and complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree studies at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Titus is a strong believer in continuing education as a means to ensure that his patients receive the highest quality dental care.  Since graduation, Dr. Titus has sought training from some of the most respected leaders in dentistry, including the Dawson Academy, the Spear Institute, and the Schuster Center for Professional Development.

He has special expertise in dental occlusion, TMJ disorders, dental aesthetics and smile design, clear aligner orthodontics, dental implants, and surgical bone grafting. Dr. Titus also maintain professional membership in the Dawson Academy Alumni association and the American Dental Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Titus keeps himself busy with community and family activities. He can be found distributing dental floss at the Middletown Lion’s Club Parade, talking teeth with preschoolers at Ark Daycare, and supporting future dentists: local high school students. He and wife, Mollie, have five kids of their own – all boys! David, Will, Luke, Isaac, and James keep their calendars and hearts full. The family is active at church and in sports, and Dr. Titus coaches whatever sport happens to be “in season.” When he has time for hobbies, Dr. Titus can be found on the basketball court or soccer pitch, with a good book, or at the computer working on web design.

Meet Dr Alexander Titus

Dr. Alexander M. Titus’ roots in Carmel run deep; he and his family moved to the community more than 20 years ago while Dr. Titus was still in grade-school. After he completed his Bachelor of Science in General Health Science at Purdue University and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, Dr. Titus knew Carmel was where he wanted to be. Dr. Titus and his wife, Sydney, have been rearing their family here ever since. They are the proud parents of six children, Hayden, Cecilia, Xavier, Brielle, Damien, and Liliana.

When Dr. Titus isn’t running after the kids, he loves to stay busy with the “latest” in the dental field. Like his brother, Dr. Jonathan Titus, D.D.S., Dr. Alex Titus was inspired to get into dentistry because of family members who were dentists. They have continued to help him grow the knowledge that can then be passed on for the benefit of his patients and staff.

Dr. Titus gets excited about new dental technologies, materials, and procedures. He appreciates that, by mastering these advanced products and techniques, Titus Dentistry stays ahead of the curve.

A graduate of the Dawson Academy, Dr. Titus credits this organization with helping him to treat patients more thoroughly and through the lens of oral health as part of a larger “system.” He treats the “whole you.”

Dr. Titus still finds time to regularly volunteer at the Trinity Free Clinic, which donates dental care to underserved families in Hamilton County. He also gets a kick out of teaching local preschoolers how to keep their teeth and gums healthy, knowing this gets them off to the right foot at the start of their oral health journeys. He always makes time for his own children’s activities, be it church, sports, or just hanging out at home. Dr. Titus is both an active sports participant and armchair athlete, especially when it comes to basketball.
